Thanks to a frighteningly unexpected storm one night, Our Tree finds himself doing something no self-respecting tree should: growing the wrong way! It would be hard enough knowing you’re not accepted in the world to which you’re born. What happens when that world is falling apart around you?

This draft of ‘The Perpendicular Tree’ was the nugget for a longer novel that is currently being worked on. It is an introduction to the world I have created.
